About Me

My name is Lyan Henst, an aspiring designer studying at De Montfort University in Leicester. My work consists of illustrations, photography, web design, ceramics and jewellery. I grew up in the Netherlands in a small town called Schaijk. 

 

In my free time I unwind by building miniature models, obsessively planning their colour palettes and hand painting them with brushes. After years of trying to find what I wanted to do with my life, discovering my love for building and painting miniatures sparked my interest in studying product design and fully committing myself to the world of art. 

 

In the future I want to make creations that can make everyday life more enjoyable for people and applying my own minimalistic style to it. I would like to specialise in ceramics.
